Secret Agent Father’s Day Card

Make this fun spy themed Father’s Day card for your dad! When the Secret Agent stamp set from Kindred Stamps came out, I knew I needed it in my collection. I stamped and colored the character during the last 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I’ve been waiting to use him on a card. Since my dad is a big spy novel fan, I decided to incorporate the image into his Father’s Day card. And since I created the manila envelope and insert printables for my own card, I figured I’d publish the PDF for you to use too (see below). You can see how the card came together here… 

Here is the PDF that I used for the card and insert Spy Father’s Day. Print the first page on cream cardstock. Flip it over and print the second side on the back. Then, print the third sheet on regular copy paper. Make sure your printer settings don’t scale it down, you want to print it full size to create an A2 card. This printable was heavily inspired by cards I saw made by Vanessa Menhorn and Gateaux Inc.

After you have both sheets printed, cut the cream sheet in half. Score at 4¼,” then trim ½” off of the right edge. When you fold the card up, the front should be ½” narrower than the back. Next, choose which panel you want to use for the insert (Pop or Dad) and trim the paper panel down to 3 1/2″ x 5 1/8.” Complete the card as shown in the video. 

Unfortunately, the stencil I used is retired, but you can substitute any radiant stencil in your collection.
