This card was easy to create. I stamped Santa, the banner, and one of each of the trees. I colored them all with Copic markers and added some shading with colored pencils. My ScanNCut helped to quickly fussy cut the images. I curved the sentiment and stamped and embossed it on the banner. Then, I connected the banner to Santa with a toothpick.
For the background, I stamped a border of trees on an A2 panel and colored them with the same Copic markers I used for the other trees. I lightly ink blended Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink above the treeline, using a new Cotton Tail blending brush. Next, I die cut two layers of stitched hillside borders to create the ice and snowbank. Using a heavy hand, I blended a coat of Speckled Egg onto the ice layer, and just a faint amount of ink on the snowbank, so it wouldn’t be stark white. To create a nice border, I trimmed the tree panel to 4″ x 5ΒΌ” and glued it to my card base. I popped the snowbank and ice layers up with foam tape.
To pull the card together, I glued the two separate trees to the snowbank, using foam tape behind the tops. I attached Santa with a Mini Action Wobble. Then, I used a white paint pen to add snowy dots all over the scene. A few scattered white gems finish the card.
I love how this one turned out! It may seem a little complicated because there are several layers, but this card would be easy to mass produce, assembly line style. I’d probably break it up over a few nights. Have you started your holiday cards yet? I’ve got a whole slew of them to share this month, so stay tuned!

GIVEAWAYS:
Adorable card! And yes, mass-production needed for holidays in our house when 50-60 cards are sent out. I only get to enjoy one of a kind personalized cards for all those birthday, anniversary, etc. and, as you know, most videos deal only with one-at-a-time cards. More easily mass-produced card videos would be much appreciated!
I love this card ?
That is the cutest Santa!
