BBQ Box Card – Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop

Hello my crafty buddies! I’ve been keeping a secret; I was invited to hop along with the Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop!!! Holy moly, this was a huge surprise and honor. And you’ll probably laugh at me, but I went through a dozen idea sketches and scrapped at least four different cards trying to decide what project to share. EEK, the pressure to perform was intense this time! Since we are getting close to Father’s Day, I wanted to make a special card for Dad. I decided to make a barbecue box card. It folds flat for mailing, then pops up into a 3D BBQ!

Isn’t this a fun card? You can swap out the sentiment and use it as a birthday card too. I think it’s a great guy card! In the video, I promised links to the supplies I used to make this card:

Stamps & Dies

Tools & Adhesives

I think that covers the supplies I used. If I missed anything, just let me know in the comments and I’ll get you links. If you haven’t hopped along to the next video yet, you can find Dawn Lewis’ video here. I hope you will hop along with us and hopefully, find some great new channels to subscribe to!

No good hop would be complete without prizes and there are 50+ prizes throughout this hop!!! Included in the prize pool are (3) three Power Pack Kits from me! (If you are unfamiliar with them, they are the easiest way to make light-up cards. You can find more info on them here.) To enter to win, comment on the videos in YouTube (not here on the blog). Comments must be left by June 5th, 2019. Prizes will be announced June 10th on Justine’s channel and blog. Please mention if you are in the USA or INTERNATIONAL if you would like to be considered for physical prizes (Gift certificates will be awarded no matter where winners live). You DO NOT have to comment on every video but the more videos you comment on, the more chances you have to win. For all of the official rules, visit Justine Hovey’s Blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope to see you here and on my YouTube channel again soon! And I mentioned Mary Polanco’s channel several times. If you are looking for great tool and storage tips, as well as great card ideas, be sure to check out her channel too!

Amazing card. I went back and looked at the original post and that one was great, too, but the lights really make this card special.
