I’m so excited to share this quick and easy light-up card featuring the Heart Hand Wiper Card die set from i-crafter! This card came together in less than 30 minutes (a record for me)!
So how’d I do it? I cut the heart from the die set out of a grey panel three times. Then I backed the panel with a strip of vellum and inlaid three colorful hearts (I had them left over from another card, but it would only take a few minutes to cut them out). Next, I covered a slimline card base with pattern paper and figured out where I wanted the three LEDs from my EZ-Light to sit (right behind the hearts). I taped them in place and adhered the battery where I wanted it (so the button would be centered between two hearts). A double layer of foam tape around the back of the grey panel pops it up so there is enough clearance for the battery. Then, a glittery die cut sentiment and a few black hearts finish the card. Note that one has “push me” stamped on it. You definitely want to indicate where the button is so your recipient will know.
That’s it! Super simple, right? If you’re not familiar with EZ-Lights, they’re a product my husband and I created. You can find more info here.
If you’ve never heard of i-crafter before, you’re in for a great surprise! My friend, Lynda Kanase, just launched this new company earlier this month. Head on over and check out all of her fun new dies and stamps! And make sure you come back on February 1st to see more!
Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions, please let me know. Oh, and I’ll be going live for the first time on my YouTube channel tomorrow evening sharing fun ways to use EZ-Lights! I hope you’ll join me!
