Hi, Crafters! It’s Vy, from Crafting Daily Dose, and I’m over the moon about the chance to be the guest designer again today! This is a special card: it’s a pop-up that also lights up!
To make the moon glow, I’ve used Halo Lights, which are pre-wired and ready to go. This card takes advantage of the circular arrangement of lights and is designed so that the activation button is accessible when the card is opened. I‘ll show you how to make it step by step:
Measurements:
-Basic White cardstock
• 3-1/2″ (W) x 3-1/2″ (H)
-Night of Navy cardstock
• 4-1/4″ (W) x 11″ (H)
scored at 5-3/8”, 5-1/2”, 9-5/8”, and 9-3/4” along the long side;
at 9-5/8”, cut from 1-1/4” to 3“
• 4-1/4″ (W) x 6-1/2″ (H), scored at 1-1/4” and 5-3/8” along the long side
• 2-1/2″ (W) x 2-3/8″ (H), scored at 7/8” and 1-1/8” along the short side
-Vellum cardstock
