It’s November 1st, and you know what that means… 2020 is almost over! Normally, I enjoy New Year’s Eve celebrations. They signal the end of the holiday season, and I usually have some down time, along with the kids, so it’s relaxing. This year however, I think we’ll all be celebrating for entirely different reasons! I’m sharing an elegant and fun, interactive card to commemorate the occasion.
Lol, I have at least 100 people on my list who will be just as excited to see the calendar flip, so I need to make a lot more of these cards. Luckily, they are fast and easy with the new Celebration Wiper die set from i-crafter! Watch how fast they come together…
To prep for the video, I die cut the elements from the Celebration Wiper die set, as well as a few flower centers from the Flower Bursts die set. I also cut a white panel to layer onto the front of the peach card base. I used the Fern Berry stencil to emboss the front panel, and the top of the wiper mechanism. I colored the champagne bottle pieces and the flutes with Copic Markers. From there, I assembled the card as you saw in the video. I love the way it turned out!
Here is a list of the main supplies I used…
Celebration Wiper Dies
Flower Bursts Dies
Fern Berry Stencil
Locking Tweezers
PVA Glue
Fineline Bottle
Scor-Tape
Copic Markers
This card was a lot of fun to make. I plan to make more for friends and family. I think I’ll make a few that are a bit more masculine too. Not that my dad or uncle would complain if I sent them pink cards, but they might prefer a pale blue card base, and Cosmic Flare stencil embossing, instead of the Fern Berry background. What color palette would you use?
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope I’ve inspired you to give this wiper card a try. I’d love to see if you do! Tag me on Facebook or Instagram so I can cheer you on. Would you like to see more new goodies from i-crafter? Lynda has a video sharing the entire new release and lots of samples! I can’t wait to play with them all…
Aren’t the new stamps and dies awesome? I love them all! I’ll be back soon with another new project to share.
